Fee Details

The application fee varies based on the category and number of papers.

  • Single Paper - General/OBC: Rs. 1000/-
  • Single Paper - SC/ST/PH: Rs. 500/-
  • Both Papers (Primary / Junior) - General/OBC: Rs. 1200/-
  • Both Papers (Primary / Junior) - SC/ST/PH: Rs. 600/-

Age Limit

The age limit for candidates applying for the CTET September 2026 is as follows.

  • Minimum Age: 17 Years

Education Qualification

Candidates must meet the following educational qualifications based on the stage they wish to teach.

  • Primary Stage (Class 1 to 5): 12th Passed with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year D.EL.ED
  • Primary Stage: 12th Passed with 45% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year D.EL.ED as per NCTE 2002 Norms
  • Primary Stage: 12th Passed with 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 4-year B.El.Ed
  • Primary Stage: Graduation with 50% Marks and 1 Year B.Ed
  • Elementary Stage (Class 6 to 8): Graduation Degree and Passed/Appearing in final year of 2-year D.EL.ED
  • Elementary Stage: Graduation Degree with 50% marks and Passed/Appearing in 1-year B.Ed
  • Elementary Stage: Graduation with 45% marks and passed/appearing in 1-year B.Ed, in accordance with the NCTE Norms
